Day 01 - Trivandrum/Kumarakom

Arrive at Trivandrum airport. Drive towards Kumarakom. Arrive at this backwater destination and check into the hotel. Visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary with a variety of bird species. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 - Kumarakom/Thekkady (Periyar)

Enjoy the scenic journey at Periyar where the mist capped mountains, spice plantations and open grasslands and spectacular waterfalls give you a warm welcome. The adventurous trekking trails await you to quench your thrilling spirit. At arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 - Thekkady

The day is free to explore the area. Pay visit to the wildlife reserve with many animals and birds. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 - Thekkady/Munnar

Early morning leave for Munnar. The city tour takes you to sprawling tea plantations. Arrive at Munnar check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 - Munnar

Munnar, the popular hill station has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi. Climb up to the Devikulam, the hill township that provides tranquility to the tourists. Trout fishing on the Devikulam Lake is a major tourist attraction. Eravikulam National Park is one of the best habitats of Nilgiri Thar - the mountain goat of South India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 - Munnar/Cochin

In the morning drive towards Cochin. Check into the hotel. An afternoon tour of "Queen Of the Arabian Sea" covers Jewish Synagogue built in 1568. Also go to St. Francis church originally built of wood in 1503 and is the oldest European church in India. Enjoy Kathakali dance show in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 - Departure

Board a flight from the Cochin airport for an onward destination or way back home.
